Stopped in on Sunday as a spur of the moment decision as we were looking for some lunch.
3 of us ate in and had 2 salads and a sandwich with chips.
Excellent service, great quality of food and reasonably priced for the quality.
Will definitely stop here again.

Visited today as a party of six with two dogs. It was a last-minute booking. Wow! We were impressed. The food was STUNNING and the service wonderful. We had seabass with gnocchi, some delicious chicken fillets, and a mackerel dish. Couldn’t resist dessert afterwards. It didn’t disappoint- scones and millionaire shortbread. Also had some wine, beers, cokes and coffee. Would recommend to anyone at any time.

My wife and I had such a fantastic time at this restaurant.
That particular day when we found this gem it was in the middle of a lul during a pretty wild storm in the area.
The lady who served us was just wonderful, bubbly and full of life.
My wife has a particular diet she needs to eat so the lady serving managed to sort out food that suited her perfectly.
The food we had was just a simple lunch but even then we could tell by the presentation and the taste that we must come back next time and try something more substantial.
We will most certainly be going back to delve a bit deeper into the menu, but until then the memories of the meal and the warm and comforting atmosphere shall suffice.

Ocho is a delight. We loved the Sunday Roast special event. Good value for outstanding food prepared with flair and imagination. Lovely atmospheric surroundings. We think it is the best food and nicest ambience in Inveraray.

Booked a table and arrived a little earlier and found everything just perfect.
The staff was very attentive and friendly.
Very busy yet the 1 girl managed to attend to all her customers without stress and was over and above happy and calming.
Food was outstanding very tasty good portions and everything we requested the chefs dealt with and didn't complain 🙏
Fantastic scone with cream and jam to finish off a perfect lunch 😍

We stopped here for lunch on a drive from Edinburgh to Crear, Tarbert, with our very hungry autistic 5 year old. He was a little grumpy because he was hungry, but the waitress was fantastic with him and put his order for a toastie on before she came to take the rest of our order. The food was amazing, and it's such a pretty restaurant overlooking the water.

Stopped for lunch on our way to Edinburgh. A little hidden gem. Fast service, friendly staff and fresh produce. Delighted with the vegetarian and vegan options. The broccoli and thyme soup was vegan and so delicious.

I had a wonderful experience at Ocho Inveraray this past weekend. We attended the all day event organised by The Little Foragers Kitchen and Ocho provided us with delicious breakfast, lunch and drinks cooked with foraged local ingredients. The spread of the beautifully presented food was gorgeous and everything was so tasty! Vicky, Natasha and the whole team at Ocho did a magnific work and we had the best time ever. We will for sure come back to Ocho when we next visit Inveraray and we thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

My partner and I had a wonderful evening meal here in early September 2024.
Wonderfull food(a little different to the norm) The Charcuterie Plata to start faultless as was the Bass and chicken that followed
The wine was pleasant
The service was absolutely great very friendly.
Right on the dock side at Inverary.

Fantastisch gegeten, het beste van onze 14 daagse roadtrip door Schotland. Sfeervol pand, attente gastvrouw en -het belangrijkste natuurlijk- buitengewoon origineel en smaakvol eten. Prettig geprijsd ook. Een culinair feestje!!

We had a delicious lunch in this lovely hidden gem. The soup of the day was a sweet potato, coconut and chili oil soup and it was amazing. The Caesar salad was very nice too. I loved their coffee cups. The room is bright and nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly.

We had an early dinner here (the evening menu is different from the day one), it was amazing, we had four sharing plates between two, a bit greedy but it was difficult to decide. Each plate was well thought out, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, and all utterly delicious. The room is gorgeous, check out the hanging floral arrangements and lovely quirky touches, the hessian wrap on the wine cooler, the bread bags and the lighting, it all made the room feel welcoming and relaxing. The owner (front of house and served our food was welcoming, chatty and efficient) the chef (her partner) cooks like a dream. I’d thoroughly recommend a visit, it’s great food and reasonably priced for the quality.

Utterly fabulous. It is all about awesome flavours. Every dish has a hero! And please do believe the team when they sat 2 to 3 small plates between 2. Could not fault anything we had. Made a night out extraordinary.

Ocho is a hidden gem of the Scottish countryside; definitely a spot that should be on any foodie’s bucket list!
The menu is small but innovative, creating a unique, family-style version of tapas. We ordered 5 of the ‘small’ tapas dishes between the three of us and found all to be delicious, we particularly enjoyed the Seabass and Patatas Bravas. The deserts were also to die for!
The atmosphere was wonderful and surprisingly casual and comfortable despite the grandeur of the restaurant. Our hostess was very affable and conversational and our dogs were given a bowl of water and space to tide them by. We certainly weren’t giving them any of our delicious food! 😂
Back home in London, this restaurant would be queued out the back!

Truly one of the best lunch experiences I’ve had in all of Scotland! The small plates are the way to go - you can get a sandwich anywhere but the chicken fillet and sea bass are delicious and plated exquisitely! 10/10 will come here every time I’m in Inverary!

Beautiful food - the soup and carrot cake were the highlights for me! Probably the best vegan carrot cake I’ve ever had. Wonderful service too. Along with the great Scottish coastal atmosphere and stunning decor, it’s pretty much perfection!
